LeSueur River Kennel Home

Our kennel is named after a watershed that runs through our area of the state. Tom has hunted and trapped on it his whole life. Our home is on the banks of the LeSueur and our children now enjoy hunting here also.

We hunt mainly Ruffed Grouse in Minnesota and Canada and Ringneck Pheasants in Minnesota and Iowa. We hunt and train on 600 acres of owned and leased ground in South-Central Minnesota. Our dogs are taken numerous times to our "Grouse Camp" in North-Central Minnesota September through November. We strive to produce bird dogs that have good looks, bird sense, are pleasant to work and have style. Another goal is to produce a very high percentage of pups in a litter that will turn out instead of just one or two dogs in the litter.
